Lhasa de Sela

''Gracias a tu voz, por haberme alcanzado,
tuve que perderme 'pa llegar hasta tu lado.
Gracias a tus versos, por haberme abrazado,
tendré que quemarme 'pa llegar hasta tu lado.''

R.I.P. Lasha de Sela. Her music for forever.

Portable solar powered radio

''With gadgets like the iPod reducing radio usage to a minimum, there are a few who believe that with some ingenuity radios can be made favorites in no time. Industrial designers Wu Kun-chia, Wang Shih-ju, Chen Ming-daw and Liou Chang-ho have designed the Flexio – a solar-powered portable radio, which is printable and inexpensive.''

Diego Stocco- Experibass

'''' Few weeks ago I visited a luthier looking for instruments parts, I had an idea in mind for an instrument I wanted to build. My curiosity was to hear the sound of violin, viola and cello strings amplified through the body of a double bass. I came up with a quadruple-neck experimental "something" that I thought to call Experibass.
To play it I used cello and double bass bows, a little device I built with fishing line and hose clamps, a paintbrush, a fork, spoons, a kick drum pedal and a drum stick. I hope you'll like it! ''''

Felix's Machines

I just discover the versatile and talented artist Felix Thorn.
Felix’s Machines are a series of extraordinary mechanical instruments put together by the artist and musician Felix Thorn.
When connected to a computer, Felix’s Machines translate Thorn’s compositions into mechanical actions performed by customised drums and piano parts and animated by solenoids, springs and motors.
In this way, an electronic means of production is transposed into an acoustic output. I love the idea, sound, composition, image... fun and great.
